Wish this looked better considering how long it took. But hey! At least its done, and I've finally posted one of the character designs for my new project! 8D
The project is based around classical horror and science fiction novels. Aphonse and his species are based loosely on a combination of Bram Stoker's vampires and H.G. Well's murlocks. He's the ruler of their advanced society where they raise and use stupefied humans as cattle.
Thanks! I usually freehand organics (like his body/skin), and sometimes use lineart tool for the harder, more precise lines (like some of the armor and the leather strips hanging down from it).
Not this semester...or at least, not the kind in the arts building....I've taken two in that building, both were very unhelpful...assignments like "draw a poem in 9 lines..." Artsy fartsy stuff, nothing really applicable. Ive taken animation (which was amazing) and now I'm in storyboarding (not as much). My best class atm is Game Lab :]
Yeah, your game lab stuff is incredible! I hope I can produce concepts as awesome as yours if I make it in someday.
Oh goodness, are they all like that? The class I'm in right now in the Visual Arts building is equally as unhelpful.... I need to learn how to DRAW and ILLUSTRATE, not arrange the letter 'e' a few times on a page. (If they all end up being that unhelpful, would you be able to teach me your awesome ways? I'd probably learn a whole lot more from you than my current teacher.)
Aaaaugh them Barnes classes are incredible! I've learned so much from Prepro already....
